Campaign Products
Manage the products a campaign sells and their campaign names, prices, and images
A campaign's Products tab lists everything the campaign can sell. Each campaign product is one store product variant at its campaign price, optionally sold as a subscription. In the Campaigns API and Campaign Cart SDK, campaign products are called packages, and each one has a unique ID that campaign pages reference.
Most campaigns don't need to add products here. Selecting products in an offer adds them to the campaign when the offer is saved, at their store price. Use the Products tab to:
- change a product's campaign name, price, or image
- sell a product as a subscription
- add a product that no offer discounts, such as a full-price add-on
- find a product's ID for your developer
Product data — including names, prices, and images — is loaded dynamically on every page visit. Changes made in Campaigns App take effect immediately across the live funnel, with no code deploy required.
For bundle or quantity pricing such as "Buy 1", "Buy 2", and "Buy 3", keep one product and create an offer for each tier in Campaigns Offers & Discounts. Don't add separate products only to express quantity discounts.
Campaign products support personalized products. The Campaign Cart SDK can collect values such as engraving text or gift messages as line item properties, keep products with different values as separate cart lines, and display those details in the cart summary. See the developer guides for collecting line item properties and displaying them in cart summaries.
Add Products
From the Campaigns App main list view, click on your campaign name, select the Products tab, and select Add Products.
- Search the store by product name and select the variants to add. Each selected variant becomes its own product in the campaign. Variants already in the campaign are marked.
- Choose the price. Each product uses its store price, or select Use One Price for All Selected Variants and enter a Price.
- To sell the products as a subscription, select Sell as a Subscription and set the Interval, Renews Every, and Recurring Price. The recurring price defaults to the store's subscription price.
- Check the Summary, then select Add Products.
Prices are entered in the campaign's default currency. Other campaign currencies are converted with the daily foreign exchange rates.
Edit a Product
Select a product on the Products tab to edit it. The page shows the product's store data as it is now, and a Product Preview of how it appears on the campaign page.
- Name - the campaign product name shown on the campaign page. This is a customer-facing value. Orders use the store product's name.
- Product - pick a different store product. Its image replaces the current one unless you upload one.
- Image - select the product image, then choose Upload image… or Use store image. Product images are displayed on the live funnel, including checkout and landing pages.
- Price - the price customers pay for a one-time purchase, or for the first payment of a subscription. Offers discount this price.
- Sell as a Subscription - charge the product again on a schedule. Set the Interval, Renews Every, and Recurring Price. Offers apply only to the first payment.
- Recalculate Prices for All Currencies - shown on multi-currency campaigns; converts the price you entered into the other currencies, replacing their current prices.
Use the currency menu to review or set the price in each campaign currency, and Preview with quantity to check the price at a given quantity. Select Save Product.
Deleting a product breaks any campaign page that references its ID. Check with your developer before removing a product from a live campaign.
Older Campaigns
Campaigns with the Enable Package Retail Price & Quantity setting turned on also show Retail Price and Quantity on each product. A quantity above 1 sells that many units together as one product, priced per unit. Offers can select these multi-unit products: they're listed under their variant when you search in an offer. Leave the setting off for new campaigns and use offers for quantity pricing and savings.
Shipping Methods
Shipping methods are set when you create the campaign and changed from the campaign's Settings tab.
